How Stain wooden deck

can be easy if you follow my simple steps

you must first have the right tools
#1 power sander
#2 leaf blower
#3 stain brush and roller with pan

step #1  (prep the deck) using your sander wether its an orbiter or disc sander start by sanding all loose paint on wood and make shore to blend in surfaces for a fine finish, get every cornor and underneath hand rails.

Step #2 (cleaning Deck) clean your deck using a blower or broom, clean your deck good and get rid of all dust and anything that shouldnt get painted.

Step #3 (preparing to paint) Now get a good deck stain wether it be oil based or acrylik my personal type that i use  is acrylik, because its easy to work with and easy to clean, store's that supply such paints are sherwin williams paint store, Benjimin moore and home depot.

buy your self a good qaulity brush like Purdy or Corona paint brushes, a 9 inch roller nap and frame and a roller pan, if you have more money and want to work less get a pole or use your broom stick if your on buget.
Start off with the hard detail work by painting the spindels, work from the out side then to the inside of porch.
once you finish with that start painting rails, once rails are completed start cutting in the deck.
now rolling you want to make shore you dont splash stain on home so slow down around wall,
start from oppisite side of steps because you dont want to trap your self in, work your way out to the exit.

my recomendation is to hire a professional painting contractor or residential painter
make shore he or she is licensed and insured and has experiance, because its better to hire one who can actualy give you a amazing finish so when you have all those summer pinics and relitives over they can say "wow" beautiful deck work....
